Introduction About Me..

My character defines me as a studious individual, with a genuine attitude. I am amicable, easy to confine too, and also a helping hand. I look to create peace and maintain a serene environment for myself and others around me. Most of my peers and friends, usually describe me as quiet, cheerful, or sometimes fun and sociable. Being a optimist is my normal routine, and faith is what keeps me running on this positive energy. I like to interact with others around me and enlighten the mood. I enjoy being the entertainment for others and engaging in group activities. Being a cheerleader for Virginia Union University would be a example. Growing up as a child my family always kept me up and moving. I've been cheer leading since high school, participated in dance groups, and sung in the choir as well. I have also participated in community groups, such as mentoring , and environmental projects. My most outstanding qualities are dedication, ambition to work hard, determination, and consistency. I like to keep my standards high because I know I have room for improvement everyday. My goals for the future are first to finish undergraduate school with a degree in Mass Communications. Continuing on to grad school, I want to complete my education with a masters degree of Mass Comm. With a Mass Communications degree, I plan to start my career with radio as a radio personality, and work my way up to broadcasting and television. I also look forward to continuing my nursing education and attending school for cosmetology. With all my plans for the future, my biggest goal is to keep my family contented. As a first generation college student, I am expected to set standards for my siblings. Maintaining good grades, staying focused in school, and participating in extracurricular activities, are all good characteristics for a good role model, and that is what I intend to be. As the oldest, I am expected to show my brothers how to be a leader and make positive decisions. With that being said, my family is my motivation to excel in school and continue my road to success.

I am currently a graduating senior at Virginia Union University, and serving my last semester as an undergraduate student.  Attending VUU has brought me many great experiences such as cheer leading, Superior High Rank Dance Team,  The Destiny's Daughters Women Empowerment Ministry, and being a Resident Assistant. I am also a new member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Throughout my extended years of gaining knowledge at this institution, I have adopted growth in many areas such as my communication skills, interpersonal skills, and leadership skills. The main focus of my blog is to promote health of the mind, body, and soul. Encouraging healthy lifestyles, with beauty and confidence. This will be beneficial to my readers, especially women because most topics will motivate the audience to become more comfortable and secure with themselves.
